MUSHERS GENERAL INFO

The Burke Mountain Sled Dog Dash has become the largest race in New England with 100 or more teams.

We are ISDRA sanctioned with 4,6,8,open classes plus skijoring .ISDRA 1.5 FINISH TIME DISQUALIFICATION will be applied to the open class.

The Bib-draw for this years Burke Mountain Sled Dog Dash will be held in conjunction with the Wafer Family Foundation's Annual BenefitCocktail Party and Chinese Auction which raises funds to support the construction of a youth recreation center in East Burke. We hope you join us for an excellent evening and the opportunity to meet Clark Gillies, NHL Hall of Famer and auctioneer extraordinaire. Each musher will receive two complimentary tickets to the Benefit Cocktail Party with their registration. Additional tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the event.

Online/early registration will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday February 29th. Starting positions will be randomly selected on Thursday morning and estimated start times will be available at the Bib-draw/Benefit Cocktail party on Friday night. Late entrants can register at the Bib-draw with no late fee, however your start order will added to the back of the respective field in the order the registration is received.
