SPECTATORS INFO

The Burke Mountain Sled Dog Dash is a family oriented fundraiser event for pet enthusiasts. Come see some of the world's most competitive sprint racing teams compete in the spectacular setting of the Northeast Kingdom. Enjoy locally made hot food at the site and dog sled rides. Children will have the opportunity to participate in the 1-dog event (a helmet is required).

Kick off the weekend races at our annual benefit dinner and auction at the Sherburne Base Lodge at Burke Mountain Resort. This year come and enjoy a delicious, hearty, down home spaghetti dinner. Join in the silent auction and bid on lots of big ticket items such as a 2012/13 Burke Mountain season pass, a large flat screen TV, and other great items. We also have a HUGE fun raffle with tons of gift baskets prepared by local artisans and crafters. Join in on the fun at this great community event. Funds from the weekend benefit the Wafer Family Foundation, with a primary goad to help support children and families in the Northeast Kingdom with a portion of the proceeds earmarked for a future recreational center in the Burke Area. Past efforts have helped the Kingdom Kids Organization, Coats for Kids, the St. Johnsbury Rec Center, hospital bills for local families, mountain biking and sporting equipment for local kids, among others.
